This is overdue, I know, but I thought I’d share some memories from The Gathering, our Assembly in Calgary at the end of April. It was a long week of work, networking and learning, but it was inspirational and lots of fun too!

We were in the midst of the Vancouver/Calgary playoff series which added to the fun. I made lots of friends, and more enemies, but at least everyone had something to say!
Some Calgarians are sympathetic to the Canuck cause….
but not all of them! I left my jersey on the table and it was vandalized!!!
The theme was Encountering God at Every Age, and there were brilliant lectures and workshops to help us explore how to raise up leaders of every generation for God’s kingdom.

Church Planter Jodi Spargur did a great job leading a workshop and facilitating discussion groups.
And Russ Rosen and his band led us in intergenerational worship, including mini-drummers and a dance party!
